Copper Canyon, a popular outdoor barbecue spot in the San Bernardino Mountains, is up for sale after its owners filed for bankruptcy.
The property, which is located near the Colorado River, has been vacant since June.
The owners of Copper Canyon say they are struggling to make a living as they struggle to raise the money to keep the business afloat.
The restaurant is in a tough spot financially.
It has been in the same building for years, but now it has become too expensive for its owners to keep running it.
Copper Canyon is located just south of Interstate 25 in Copper Canyon Ranch.
Copper Moon is a local moonshiner that uses the property as a base.
Copper Canyon Grill, located in Copper Valley, is on the market for $2.2 million.
The property is owned by the Rancho Copper Canyon Development Corporation, a partnership of the Ranchos Copper Canyon Foundation and the Ranch Co., the owner of Copper Moon.
The sale is for a 4,000-square-foot restaurant and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019, according to an auction listing.
In a statement to FOX 7, Copper Canyon’s co-owner, Dave Matson, said he is “deeply sorry” for the family’s financial problems.
“I’ve been through some rough times, but we have found a way to make this business work,” he said.
“We are committed to working with our investors to turn the business around and continue to provide for the community and our staff.”
Copper Moon still sells its moonshining and BBQ products online and in its store.
Matson told FOX 7 that the family is not planning on turning the business over to the family, and that the ranch is working on a new lease agreement with the owners.
Copper’s other properties include a two-story home in Silver Lake and a 1,200-square foot home in Goldendale, according the listing.
